The Read Holland Chardonnay “Peter Martin Ray” comes from the esteemed Santa Cruz Mountains vineyard where Martin Ray met Paul Masson and used his cuttings that came from Louis Latour in Burgundy. (Mt Eden Clone). Ashley Holland makes 80 cases from here. Beeswax, quince paste, green pears, briny grapefruit, such intensity and power. 45 year old vines, neutral oak, full ML, unfined/unfiltered.
