A new label and new wine from Duckhorn Vineyards, Postmark hits the “value” zone for Napa Valley Cabernet at $35/bottle. Made in a modern style for drinking tonight (ripeness bordering on jamminess, medium-low acid, soft tannins, attractive frame of toasty new oak), the Postmark delivers delicious Napa Cab flavors and easy satisfaction. If I was still in the wine retail business I’d sell a ton of this wine because it’s easy to like and the price is right.
