Owned/made by Napa’s Tres Sabores winery. It’s a prototypical “Modern Red Blend” of 49% Petite Sirah, 39% Zinfandel, then Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The grapes come from Mendocino County (half the Petite Sirah), Sierra Nevadas (some of the Zinfandel), Calistoga and the Rutherford Estate.

Julie Johnson’s Rutherford Bench vineyard and winery is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Napa Valley. Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown on the organic estate (along with about a dozen varieties of pomegranates!). I love all the wines.
