The light salmon flesh/orange-y color of the Luli Rosé of Grenache is a dead-ringer for Provence, Southern France rosé. Similarities continue with a dried violets, white pepper, faint strawberry smells and flavors of orange zest, bright cherry and dry French herbs. Very dry, healthy acidity and equal amounts of spicy herbs and fruit. It walks the fine line of dryness and (some) austerity while showing tasty fruit and flavor. And, for what it’s worth, the bottle looks good (“Good package,” we in the biz say…about the bottle.)

Luli wines are produced by the Pisoni family of Santa Lucia Highlands fame. They consistently provide delicious wine for a fair price. A DDWA “Awesome Value,” and member of the Best of the Best list.
