“Stuller Vineyard,” located a couple miles northwest of Occidental, is a very cool site. The Boheme Pinot Noir Stuller, standing to reason, is perfumed, ethereal and intense. Yeah, it’s the real-deal in California Pinot Noir. I love the nose: bouquet of red roses, cranberry sauce, squished up fresh raspberries. Then it tastes like really good, cool-climate Pinot Noir, as in wild red cherries, five spice, red rose-laced black tea, pomegranate. The acidity elevates the flavors, round mouth feel, fine tannins for support. It’s all there. This is like a middleweight boxer that wins the fight with finesse, agility and sneaky power.

Here are all my Boheme wine reviews.
