The Trinafour Petite Sirah “Niemi Vineyard” 2019 is a brilliant and most tasty rendition of the under-appreciated varietal. Part deep blueberry, part blackberry and pomegranate, the fruit flavors here are very strong yet in check and harmonious with the black pepper, black licorice and Mediterranean herbs. Healthy acidity and a confident handshake of fine tannins makes this a complete, world-class wine and a fine ambassador for inland Mendocino County wines.
