The Post & Vine Rosé is 100% Carignane grown specifically to make Rosé. Get sensations of hard raspberry candies, summer fruit stand watermelon, pink grapefruit (or is it blood orange?), fresh bay leaves and two turns of the peppermill. Lively, mouth-watering acidity and a finish of sweet and savory with gum-nibbling tannins, the wine is 80% fun and 20% “serious.” (Serious as it’s a glorious match with roast or grilled white meats, fish and earthy vegetables. And pastor tacos…especially pastor tacos.) Now that we expect exceptional Rosés to be $25ish a bottle, Post & Vine’s $19 price tag is an Awesome Value (and a “Best of the Best” selection).
Post & Vine Owner/Winemaker Rebekah Wineburg launched with her 2012 Old Vine Field Blend. Total production of the three current release wines in under 500 cases. All are delicious, unique and excellent value artisan wines that you should have at the ready for happy drinking at the meal table. Read all my Post & Vine reviews HERE.
