A combination of Valley floor and eastern hillside vineyards of Oakville. Dark red and black berry/cherry profile with black currants, allspice, dark chocolate and toasty vanilla bean (from barrel) notes. The cocoa and deep, dark cherry flavors take the lead on the quite silky, 20 second finish. Medium-full bodied and smooth tannins. Enjoy this anytime: now through 2025. It has a nice, long life ahead of it. Crazy, but $69 for a high-quality Oakville AVA Cab is a pretty good value.

Sojourn Cellars began in 2001 with 100 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon. They now make around 12,000 cases a year, spread over 20 wines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon). Their style in a nutshell: California-rich style with appropriate restraint. Check out the Sojourn wines I recommend here.
