Cody and Emily Rasmussen are the owners of Desire Lines, which produces wines which we absolutely love. Cody’s day job is being an Assistant Winemaker at Bedrock Wine Co. We really appreciate and respect how much great wine comes out of Bedrock, both under its labels, and the labels of people who work there. It is an incredible incubator for talent, especially for making the types of wines that we really enjoy–great sense of place, balanced, interesting, delicious. We first tasted Desire Lines a couple months ago, and their Sauvignon Blanc remains probably my favorite discovery since taking over Outer Space. Frankly, I think the Sauvignon Blanc is an absolute revelation: the kind of wine that comes along and changes your entire perspective on a varietal, but I digress…
