DESCRIPTION:Join us in Outer Space from 5:00 – 7:30 on Thursday\, August 15th for a Taste with the Winemaker event. \nWe are so excited to host winemaker Rebekah Wineburg to taste through her Post & Vine lineup featuring special wines and limited time pricing. We’ll be tasting three current releases and two special library bottles. \nRebekah’s day job is winemaker at Quintessa\, but she fell in love with historic vineyards and has been bottling them in minuscule quantities since 2012. What happens when you match talented winemaking with historic vineyards? Well\, you get to taste Old California at a price that baffles in New California. This is a great way to get acquainted with some really special\, small production bottlings\, and taste rarely seen back vintages. \nFrankly\, handmade wines with this level of farming\, history\, transparency\, and sense of place should cost much\, much more. It is our good fortune (for now) that the world has not yet realized that historic vineyards should entail higher price tags. Maybe we’ll get lucky and these sorts of bottles will stay under-the-radar forever\, but with quality like this\, from winemakers like Rebekah\, I wouldn’t count on it. \nTickets are $22 in advance or $27 at the event.  Purchase advance tickets here. \nWalk-ins are always welcome in Outer Space. \nOuter Space Wines \n974 Franklin Street\, Downtown Napa \n
