Since 1917\, they’ve crafted just three wines each year—a white\, a red\, and a rosé—blending grapes from both Dão and Bairrada (a rebellious move in Portugal’s tightly regulated system). The red is typically a mix of Baga and Touriga Nacional\, while the white features Encruzado\, Bical\, and Maria Gomes. \nThese wines were once served exclusively in the hotel’s dining room—you couldn’t even buy a bottle to take upstairs. With their elegant\, age-worthy style and legendary scarcity\, they’ve become a cult treasure for insiders.
