DESCRIPTION:The daily wine tasting at Outer Space Wines features a rotating selection of wineries we like to promote and sell. \nThe featured winery starting on June 19 is Olivia Brion and Cantadora Wines\, owned\, made and managed by Napa winemaker Kira Ballotta. \nExpect a little bit of the unexpected with Kira’s wines. Take the Olivia Brion “Taquine” white\, a Cortese/Falanghina blend\, and Cantadora “The Energizer for the Ages” Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre blend as two wines as delicious as they are unique. DESCRIPTION:Galactic Cabernet Tastings offered every day at 1 PM by appointment.\nAdvance purchase on TOCK required.\nTastings on other days and/or times are possible. Contact Dan directly for an appointment. \nThe Galactic Cabernet Tasting is a tasting of four of the best single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons (including Cabernet Franc & Cabernet-based blends)\, most or all from a different Napa Valley region and/or sub-AVA. (Sometimes the flight will include a highly-rated Cabernet Sauvignon from another region or country.) Sit down to a flight of Cabs from AVAs  Oakville\, Mt. Veeder\, St. Helena\, Howell Mountain\, Diamond Mountain\, Rutherford and Coombsville (rotating selection). \nOuter Space Wines’ Owner Dan Dawson (the first-ever sommelier at The French Laundry) will begin the tasting with a short lesson on what makes Napa Valley unique and special for growing Cabernet Sauvignon\, then guide you through the tasting\, wine by wine. \nTaste great\, distinctive and rare Napa Cabernet Sauvignons and learn more about what makes them great from one of Napa Valley’s best wine experts and teachers. Wines poured will be available for purchase in limited amounts. \nThe Galactic Cabernet Tasting is offered Wednesday through Sunday at 1 PM. It will end by 1:50 which gives you time for another wine tasting on that day.
